Christmas Wedding Inspiration

Christmas Wedding Inspiration

Dreaming of a Christmas wedding? Take a look inside this romantic winter wedding shoot and get yourself some dreamy inspiration.

The photographer, Yolanda, matched the vibe completely and provided some warm, airy, romantic images that really reflect the moment. Featuring candle light and deep red detailing, could it get any better?

The shoot was set at House of St John’s in Bath, a cosy wedding venue that worked perfectly for the setting. Deep red detailing is going to be big in 2025, but I also think it’s so timeless for a winter wedding. It really adds in that romantic element, especially if you go for a deeper tone like these. Mixing with the white florals helps to brighten things up and adding the candlelight? Perfection! Florals were supplied by Just Leafy.

The cutest table settings were supplied by Etiquette Events, I’ve actually never seen a setting like this and think it is such a fun addition to a Christmas wedding!

Abi wore a bespoke Phoebe Crosby Design wedding gown from The Opus Collection, paired with a red floral embroidered veil from Rebecca Anne Designs. Joe wore a suit from Suave Owl

Abi’s dress has been a firm favourite from my debut collection - the La Dentelle set. This dress includes multiple layering options to completely change the look, from a pearl draped corset to a detachable double satin train and chantilly lace veil. You can view all the different styling options for this dress here

The vibe for the shoot was vintage romance, which MK Hair and Makeup delivered beautifully on Abi. I loved the Hollywood waves, such an elegant addition! The chantilly lace sweeping the neckline was complimented beautifully by jewellery from Joannah and Grace

Wedding newspapers are a great idea for a unique take on wedding timelines. Photo Press designed these, and the possibilities are endless! I love the idea of a monochrome vibe, heart sunglasses on etc.

I am obsessed with this shoot, I think it’s so romantic and equally a winter wedding completely removes the stress you might get with a summer wedding of ‘what will the weather be?’. You know it’s going to be cold, you design your dress appropriately with layering options for outdoor shots and you incorporate detailing like the above. With the candlelight, I think less is definitely not more, add as many as you can for the most romantic wedding ever!
